Grubberfly's Elegy takes up 1 less notch than Hiveblood.Īlso, even though dying in the White Palace does not sever your soul(reduce your max soul by 33%, releasing a hostile Shade at the death location), I do believe it breaks Fragile Charms. Wearing both Grub charms together increases the effect of Grubsong to 26 soul per damage taken (the amount needed to heal with Focus is 33 soul, thus giving you more than enough soul to heal every 2 hits you take). You wouldn't have to wait for Hiveblood. Grubberfly's Elegy + Deep Focus + Grubsong would be a better setup for healing. Also I'm not even thinking about beating The Radiance since it's too risky and I know that it breaks the vessel, as well as beating it just triggers the ending and gives an entry into the journal, and neither of these give extra percentage. I'm not really expecting myself to die in the White Palace (Hiveblood-Grubsong-Deep Focus), though I remember that it was not breaking the vessel when I was dying there (never fought Shade in White Palace).
